A little about Lake County Web Design....

Lake County Web Design was started based on a goal to provide a professional but very cost effective interent design service to the smaller local businesses in the Lake County area of Illinois. To help reach this goal we set ourselves the following guidelines.

  1. Be located close to your customer as face to face communication and local contact is important
  2. Understand the customers needs. Most smaller businesses want a simple but effective web presence instead of a costly highly customized website that a larger company may want
  3. Keep it personal. Lake County Web Design will only work on a maximum of two projects at any time
  4. Support is essential. After your website is on line we have a variety of support levels to support you as your business grows and your website needs updating
  5. Customer satisfaction is a top priorty. Our job will not be complete until you are 100% satisfied.
  
 

Steps to getting on-line

Packages - Take a look at at packaged pricing. You may have an exact idea what you require, or you may need to discuss further before you can make a decison

  
 

Pick a name - If you do not already own a domain name please let us know what name you would like you for your website. For example - www.yournamehere.com. We will check to see what is available and let you know. If someone has your first choice, we will give you some options.

Hosting - If your not sure what this is, chances are you will need it. Your website needs to be 'hosted' on a computer somewhere once it is released inot the world! Hosting is cheap these days and you can see the options on the pricing page


 
 

Contact us - Once your ready to talk to us, pleae fill in the details on the contact page and we will be in touch with you very soon

Planning meeting - Once we have spoken over the phone and got some ideas of what you are looking for we would like to meet with you to discuss some ideas. We feel this is an important step to ensure we give you what you want.

Let the fun begin !!!! - This is when we start the design. You will have access to the website so you can check and comment on the design as we move through the design process. If you want anything changing along the way, let us know!

Website Ready - After a final review with yourself, the website will be opened to the public. Now the whole world can find you !!!

Maintenance - Every now and then we will check in with you to see if you need any content on the website changing. We do provide optional service agreements which vary in price depending on the amount of work required
