A little about Lake County Web
Design....
Lake County Web Design was founded based
on a goal to provide a professional but very cost effective internet
design service to the smaller local businesses in the Lake County area
of Illinois. To help reach this goal we set ourselves the following
guidelines.

Be located close to your customer as face to face
communication and local contact is important.

Understand the customer needs. Most smaller businesses
want a simple but effective web presence instead of a costly complex web site that a larger company may want.

Keep it personal. Lake County Web Design will only
work on a maximum of two projects at any time.

Support is essential. After your web site is on
line we have a variety of support levels to support you as your business
grows and your web site needs updating.

Customer satisfaction is a top priority. Our job
will not be complete until you are 100% satisfied.
The steps to getting on-line
Budgeting - Take a look at at packaged
pricing. You may have an exact idea what you require, or you may need
to discuss further before you can make a decision
Pick a name - If you
do not already own a domain name please let us know what name you would
like you for your web site. For example - www.yournamehere.com. We will
check to see what is available and let you know. If someone has your
first choice, we will give you some options.
Hosting - If your not sure what this
is, chances are you will need it. Your web site needs to be 'hosted'
on a computer somewhere once it is released into the world! Hosting
is cheap these days and you can see the options on the pricing
page
Contact
us - Once your ready
to talk to us, please fill in the details on the contact
page and we will be in touch with you very soon
Planning meeting -
Once we have spoken over the phone and got some ideas of what you
are looking for we would like to meet with you to discuss some of the ideas.
We feel this is an important step to ensure we give you what you want.
Let the fun begin !!!! - This is
when we start the design. You will have access to the web site so you
can check and comment on the design as we move through the design process.
If you want anything changing along the way, let us know!
Web site Ready - After a final review
with yourself, the web site will be opened to the public. Now the whole
world can find you !!!
Maintenance - Every now and then
we will check in with you to see if you need any content on the web site
changing. We do provide optional service agreements which vary in price
depending on the amount of work required.
