Billing starts the day your site goes live, after you approve it. Not when you first contact us. Not when we start building. The day it launches.
Your first charge is prorated for the days left in that calendar month. If the site launches on the 20th, you pay for the days from the 20th to the end of the month. After that we bill your monthly rate in advance for each month ahead.
The exact collection date and the day-count we use for proration are settled when we set up billing. We will tell you both before you owe anything.
Give us at least five business days' notice before the end of the month. Your site stays online through the month you paid for, plus a five-day grace period after it. There is no cancellation fee and no notice period beyond those five business days.
The plan includes registering and renewing one domain that costs up to $25 a year. A domain that costs more than that is a separate decision, and we talk about it before we register anything.
If we register the domain for you, it is yours to keep. After three months of service, the transfer is free. If you cancel before then, we still transfer the domain to you, for a one-time $50 fee. That condition sits on the domain by itself. It is not a minimum term, and it does not change how cancellation works.
If you already own a domain, it stays in your account. We connect it in whichever way your registrar supports: pointing the nameservers, adding DNS records we send you, or using administrator or delegated access. You never need to send us a password.
The monthly plan does not transfer the website design to you. Porting it to another provider is priced separately. Tell us where the site is going and we will send you the price and what the move includes, before you decide anything. That price is not set in advance, because it depends on where the site is headed.
Google review requests, email newsletters, two-way texting with missed-call text-back, and social media posting. Tell us which ones you want. Texting needs a business number and carrier registration before it can be turned on.
