Your website is designed and coded for your business. You review it on a temporary URL before launch. Billing starts only after you approve the site and it is published live.
The first month is prorated based on the days remaining in that calendar month. After that, the $297 service is billed in advance for the upcoming monthly service period. The recurring collection date and exact proration day-count method will be confirmed during billing setup.
Domain registration and renewal
The monthly plan includes one domain registration and annual renewal up to $25 per year. A domain that costs more than the allowance requires a separate decision before registration.
If Lake County Web Design registers the domain, it is yours to keep after three months of service. This three-month condition applies to the domain and is not a minimum subscription term.
You may bring a domain you already own. You can point its nameservers, add DNS records we provide, or grant administrator or delegated access when your registrar supports it. The domain can stay in your account, and no shared password is needed.
Cancellation and the website grace period
Cancellation of any service requires notice at least five business days before the end of the month. The website remains online until the paid month ends. An additional five-day grace period follows.
The monthly plan does not transfer ownership of the website design. If you want to take the design to another provider, you can request a separate porting quote. The quote will explain the price and what the transfer includes.
Fixed-price website code purchase
One-off custom website projects are available with a project-specific quote. After final payment, the complete website code belongs to you, and you may take it to another provider.
The fixed-price purchase covers code only. Hosting, updates, and website care are optional services with separate pricing. Read how fixed-price websites work.
Optional blog services
- $25 per month: formatting and publishing for up to four client-supplied posts
- $100 per month: writing and image selection for up to four posts, with client approval before each post is published under the client's name
Unused posts do not roll over to the next month. Clients may also write and publish their own posts without either add-on.
Pricing questions
Does the three-month domain condition require three months of service?
No. The three-month condition determines when an agency-registered domain becomes yours to keep. It is separate from the cancellation policy and is not a minimum subscription commitment. Cancellation requires at least five business days notice before month end.
How many pages are included?
No fixed page count has been established for the monthly plan. The initial website scope is based on the pages needed for your business and is confirmed before the build.
Are ongoing edits included?
No general ongoing-edit allowance has been established. Any continuing work beyond the confirmed website service should be defined before it is requested or quoted separately.
Is a five-day launch guaranteed?
No. Five days is the typical delivery timeframe. Delays in content, approvals, domain access, or other client inputs can extend it.
Do you guarantee Google rankings or leads?
No. The website includes useful content and on-site search foundations, but rankings and lead volume depend on other factors too.
