Keep website responsibilities clearly assigned
Website care is available by separate quote when a business owns its website code or needs ongoing work outside the confirmed monthly website service.

Care begins with a defined responsibility
Ongoing website work can mean different things to different owners. One site may need hosting and technical maintenance. Another may need content updates or help managing changes. We define the requested work in a quote so you know what is included before service begins.
The scope and price depend on the website and the work you want handled. Your quote identifies the responsibilities covered by the service.
How care relates to the two website options
With the $297 monthly website plan, the approved site is published as part of the continuing service. The site stays online through each paid month. If service is canceled with the required notice, it remains online through the paid month plus a five-day grace period.
With a fixed-price purchase, you own the website code after final payment. Hosting and care are separate from the code purchase and can be quoted if you want Lake County Web Design to handle them.
Useful details for a care request
When you contact us, share the website address, who built it, where it is hosted, and the kind of help you expect. Access requirements and technical compatibility can then be reviewed before a scope is proposed. Never send account passwords through the inquiry form.
If your request is mainly about recurring articles, the blog services page lists two fixed monthly options.
Ask for a website care review
Describe the site and the responsibilities you want covered. We can then determine whether the work fits and prepare a separate quote.
See your website before billing begins.
Share the business details and customer path. You will review the finished website on a temporary URL before you approve launch.
